What studios ask before starting.
How are client payments handled?
For now, client billing happens outside MatHub. You take payments however you do today, and MatHub looks after classes, bookings, waitlists, credits and client admin. Built-in payments are on our roadmap for the future.
Can clients sign themselves up publicly?
No, and that’s deliberate. There’s no open public registration. You invite clients by email, so your list stays curated and you keep control of who joins your studio. MatHub isn’t a marketplace for clients to discover studios.
Can solo teachers use it, or is it only for studios?
Both. MatHub works for an independent teacher running their own week and for a small studio coordinating classes, clients and staff. The same tools scale with you.
Are custom domains supported?
Yes. Every studio gets a branded web address to start, and you can connect your own domain from settings, which is set up securely for you once ownership is verified.
How do I add my existing client list?
Add clients individually by email, or import a whole list of names and email addresses at once. Each client receives a secure invitation to complete their own profile, consent, and health questionnaire, so their records are accurate from day one.
How is health and GDPR-sensitive data handled?
Health and profile data is encrypted and stored in UK/EU regions. Consent is recorded with the date and the version agreed to, every studio’s data is kept separate, and both you and your clients can export or request deletion of personal data. You remain the data controller.
Is there an app for clients?
Yes. Clients can add your branded studio to their phone’s home screen and book just like an app, with nothing to download from an app store.
